  A representative of the Las Lomitas Education Foundation (LLEF) will give an update of Foundation activities during the past month.
         
c. Bond Projects Report/Update/Discussion     
  As a standing item, the Bond Project Director will update the Board on recent bond activities and answer any questions that the Board may have.
         
d. Quarterly Other Post Employee Benefits (OPEB) Report - CalPERS CERBT     
  The quarterly Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) report for the period ending June 30, 2015 is presented.
         
e. Quarterly Investment Report - San Mateo County Treasurer     
  The quarterly investment report for the period ending June 30, 2015  is presented.
         
f. Summer School 2015     
  A report on Summer School 2015 will be presented to the Board.

a. Public Comment     
 

This is an opportunity for communication from the public regarding items on the Consent Calendar or items that are not on the Agenda. Board Members cannot respond regarding the substance of any such comments, since the topic(s) have not been included on the Agenda. However, Board Members will take any comments under advisement and will give direction to staff to follow up, if warranted. Members of the public may address the Board regarding items on the Agenda at the time they are discussed by the Board.

  Personnel items are routine actions to employ, promote, re-assign, grant leaves of absence, accept resignation, accept retirement, and/or authorize related compensation.

  The Fund 1 Warrant Register for August 2015 is presented for approval.

  The Fund 21 Warrant Register for August 2015 is presented for approval.

  The minutes for the August 12, 2015 Board meeting are presented for approval.

a. Resolution #1516-1:09-16 - Authorizing of Teaching Assignments      (V)  
  Under the provisions of the California Education Code, the Governing Board of a school district may authorize the assignment of teachers with sufficient coursework and/or verified knowledge of a subject matter to teach classes in addition to those which they are credentialed.  

The annual report of teaching assignments is also presented for review and in compliance of Education Code 44258.9, which indicates that the Superintendent must monitor the assignment of teachers in compliance with credentialing regulations.
         
b. Resolution #1516-2:9-16 - Assurance of Compliance: Sufficiency of Pupil Textbooks & Instructional Materials      (V)  
  Legislation stipulates that every year districts must certify compliance with requirements to determine the sufficiency of textbooks and instructional materials.
         
c. Resolution #1516-3:9-16 - Establishing the Gann Appropriations Limit      (V)  
  Each year the District must calculate its prior year Gann appropriations and prepare an estimated calculation for the current fiscal year.
         
d. 2014-15 Unaudited Actuals         (V)  
  The annual J200 report for the 2014-15 unaudited revenue and expenditures will be presented.
         
e. Resolutions #1516-4:9-16, #1516-5:9-16, and #1516-7:9-16 - Year-end Budgetary Transfers         (V)  
  Resolutions #1516-4:9-16, #1516-5:9-16, and #1516-7:9-16 authorizing year-end budget revisions in the General Fund and other funds are presented for approval.
         
f. Resolution #1516-6:9-16 -- Resolution to Update Plan of San Mateo County SELPA -- Add Design Tech High      (V)  (C)  
  As a member of San Mateo County's Local Education Agencies, LLESD is required to approve any updates to the Local Plan.  Resolution #1516-6:9-16 updates the plan by approving the addition of Design Tech High School to its membership.
